ABOUT NARENDRA


Dr. Narendra Madhuranthakam is an Indian author who is one of the foremost bilingual (Telugu and English) languages story writer. He is the only known writer who taught English literature at the same time being Telugu writer. 

He born in Damalcheruvu village in the year 1957. Narendra worked as English Professor and Head of the Department at Sri Venkateswara University until 2019. He claimed of inspiration from his father Rajaram Madhuranthakam (was indian Telugu author) towards story writing was seeded in his young age.   

In the span of over four decades he wrote many short stories depicting the lives of Indian people. His readers do experience in his stories as though the mentions are happening now due to Narendra's narration of surroundings at detail in every scene of story. His works been recognized as new ways of Telugu story narration comprehending the social and existential reality.

    Curious to know why writer father and sons keep family name as maduranthakam a town name in Tamil nadu? Can anyone answer please

A POND IN THE SAND

Dr. Boya Subramanyam Reddy, a physician who hails from Thondavada, a small village near Tirupati and who had settled down in Mineral wells, a village of around 80 miles from Dallas, USA requested me to translate a book entitled   Meditation   written by Eknath Eswaran an Indian born spiritual teacher who established the Blue Mountain     Centre of Meditation in California, USA. WELCOME TO BHARATHAM MITTA

To call The Mahabharatha a literary text is a heresy and to say that it is a scripture amounts to sectarianism. Then what it is? It is a part of life to us, the people of erstwhile North Arcot district of British India and to the southern parts of Chittoor district and the northern parts of Vellore district of the present times.
